Wanted: Aspies aged 17 or there abouts (18-22). Anybody out there?

Hiya,

I'm Katie and I've been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome aged 17.

I've been bouncing around the forum a while and so far I've only found adults, but I'd really like to find other Aspie's my age to talk to, you know, usual stuff, hobbies, how strange normal people are, and preferably if you've gone to uni/started uni I'd love it if you could let me know how you got on and what to expect.

Cheers.

  • Like I said, its just a fall back plan in case something goes wrong. :)

With all the increases in Uni prices the universities might have to become more strict with who they let in, meaning that even if I do get all of the grades I might not get a place. So, if I don't get into the uni I want, I have my gap year plan in place so I won't panic or get too anxious whenever it gets brought up. ^^

As long as you enjoy your subject then thats great. Its important to choose what you love to do and not because other people say you should, otherwise you might end up hating your time at uni. :S
