Wanted: Aspies aged 17 or there abouts (18-22). Anybody out there?

Hiya,

I'm Katie and I've been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome aged 17.

I've been bouncing around the forum a while and so far I've only found adults, but I'd really like to find other Aspie's my age to talk to, you know, usual stuff, hobbies, how strange normal people are, and preferably if you've gone to uni/started uni I'd love it if you could let me know how you got on and what to expect.

Cheers.

  • No. I'm more into art so I've only ever done comissions (paintings, sculptures etc) for family members or friends of family. For work experience I hung out with a friend of my mum who was a criminal psychologist (basically gets into the minds of criminals and diagnoses them etc. She scared me half to death by going from 'normal' to 'criminal in interrogation' without warning.)

Thats why its my gap year plan, never done it before and it'll give me a chance to find out what I wouldn't mind doing part time work for when I'm at uni full time.
