Wanted: Aspies aged 17 or there abouts (18-22). Anybody out there?

Hiya,

I'm Katie and I've been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome aged 17.

I've been bouncing around the forum a while and so far I've only found adults, but I'd really like to find other Aspie's my age to talk to, you know, usual stuff, hobbies, how strange normal people are, and preferably if you've gone to uni/started uni I'd love it if you could let me know how you got on and what to expect.

Cheers.

  • Nah. I couldn't do nothing for that long. My 'plan b' (as I call it) is to try and get a part time job for the year to see how I cope in a working environment, so I can learn more about how 'adults' expect me to behave or react. If I can handle it, I might go full time for that year. That way I can use the money to help support my mum and even put some aside to help with uni. :)

It'll also give me time to work on my artwork for a portfolio!
