Wanted: Aspies aged 17 or there abouts (18-22). Anybody out there?

Hiya,

I'm Katie and I've been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome aged 17.

I've been bouncing around the forum a while and so far I've only found adults, but I'd really like to find other Aspie's my age to talk to, you know, usual stuff, hobbies, how strange normal people are, and preferably if you've gone to uni/started uni I'd love it if you could let me know how you got on and what to expect.

Cheers.

  • Hi Michael. I'm trying to hunt down more info about Uni too. All I know right now is that the whole UCAS process is pretty stressful, not because the process is complex, but the pressure my school put on me to get it done. Sorry to say you'll have to expect that in the future. :(

I'm aiming to do an animation course at Uni and have managed to get a few replies asking for an interview, so I'll try and let you know what they're like. What sort of thing do you want to do at uni?
