Hi chelleas, and welcome,
Can I reccommend a book called 'Living well on the Spectrum' A workbook.
www.amazon.co.uk/.../1606236342
There is a great deal out there to read, but do give yourself time to take the diagnosis on board.
I left the Hospital with just a leaflet; and a keen sense I was on my own. No advice, nothing. I have two on the spectrum.
You may find much provision has to be parent driven, it is the norm sadly, however thats ok, because in my experience parental support and direction is some of the best there is. The people on this forum are always ready to offer help and advice, so if you have more specific questions, just ask.
I wish you all the best on your journey
