    Hi Diamonds,

I’m sorry to read you’re going through such a tough time, it’s good that you’ve let us know what’s happening. Dealing with ESA/PIP issues can challenging as there are often unexpected changes. It sounds like you've had a few let downs recently but hang in there. Sometimes you have to just push a bit further and remain positive before things change.

Many people have similar thoughts when coping with so much and I hope you’re okay.

If you are having trouble cope with the issues, it’s very important to tell someone about your feelings. Call your GP and make an urgent appointment. Your GP can make sure you get appropriate help and support.

The Samaritans also provide confidential non-judgemental emotional support, 24 hours a day on 08457 90 90 90 (or 1850 60 90 90 in the Republic of Ireland), or by email on jo@samaritans.org.

MIND have information pages on coping with self harm based on the experiences of people who’ve been through it that you may find helpful.

If you are very close to doing something to hurt yourself - call 999 now or go to your nearest A&E department. There should be someone there to support you and make sure you get ongoing support.

If you need help with an autism related issue, our helpline can be emailed on autismhelpline@nas.org.uk or they’re open Monday-Friday 10am-4pm on 0808 800 4104. We'd love to speak to you.

Diamonds... Keep positive and keeping sharing with the community on here... Smile

Take super care and you're not alone!

thank you for your reply back, does PIP happen straight away, after assignment?

    Hi Diamonds,

Following Avi's post, have you thought about the advocacy service that they may be able to help organise?

Thank you for your kind reply back.

It's been on appeal for a while, (had a nasty letter the other week) which caused me to self harm myself.

I've got a PIP appointment/assignment soon, very soon, do you get put straight onto the PIP, after your PIP appointment/assignment. Since the ESA have stopped it, i've been struggling. Does any know?

Does anyone else self harm themselves here. I harm myself when I get anxious and nervous, I find the mornings the worst because the mornings go so quickly.

    Hi Diamonds,

You do sound miserable. What help do you get from nhs/local authorites etc?

Try not to take the letters about ESA too personally. They aren't trying to make you miserable but they do make mistakes and send letters to people when they really shouldn't. Do you need help to deal with them?

They have mistake after mistake, they put my wrong address on it, they put there old phone number on it, so carer had to spend hours finding phone numbrude they rude on phone. Yes do need help.

    hello diamonds

im sorry to hear about your current situation i hope things improve soon...

when you say ESA are bullying you how do you mean??

are you not going to be awarded another carer??

being on the spectrum i very frequently forget things, some important, some not so important... did you try to contact them when they didnt pick you up??

    dave

They/ESA sending letters asking for money saying that I work 16 hours when I don't. It's not the same, i liked my other carer more. I feel like self harming. ESA have lied to me left, right and centre. I thought ESA people were suppose to help out, yet they have made my life hell, by lying to me, misleading me, I'm getting sick and tired of them.
