Anyone else heard of or tried this company.
Retired people sign up to be self employed helpers offering companionship, help with chores, trips out, light cleaning, medication reminders. But no personal care.
My ASD social worker suggested I sign up to get some social contact.
The umbrella company then match you with a helper.
I clearly stated I was autistic and wanted companionship to play board games and maybe some painting. I stated I was not looking for someone chatty, more someone peaceful who liked to concentrate and maybe enjoy the background music.
They match me with a social butterfly, who has never painted but loves chatting, and she cost £27 per hour.
Worse than dating sites........Total mismatched.
I am not impressed.
