I found a "hole" in this theory. If universe is expanding faster than light and accelerating, then it means, that not all regions of the universe might be covered by light. But there are many more theories about universe that I heard of, some of them contradict each other.
It's cool though, it makes it sound like a dark wave riding the edge of the expansion, perhaps helping to spread dark matter. I had a look and they call dark matter the scaffolding of the universe, I didn't know that.
It also makes me think of paper chromatography with expanding colours, completely different but let's be visual what your theory would look like!
I heard of a comparison of the expansion and blowing up a balloon. But I also listened to one interview, where some Indian astronomer said, that universe is not expanding, but its only our impression because it appears to expand the direction our solar system moves. If I remember it properly... he also questioned the existence of a dark matter. He said, that this might be the way gravity works in space.
