"The beauty of light" another lego comics story

This time it´s a day, Owl and Michelle enjoy their company in his house far away from people, close to nature.

  • I heard of a comparison of the expansion and blowing up a balloon. But I also listened to one interview,  where some Indian astronomer said, that universe is not expanding,  but its only our impression because it appears to expand the direction our solar system moves. If I remember it properly... he also questioned the existence of a dark matter. He said, that this might be the way gravity works in space. There is a lot humanity does not understand yet about the universe. If I find the link, I would post it here.

  • It's cool though, it makes it sound like a dark wave riding the edge of the expansion, perhaps helping to spread dark matter. I had a look and they call dark matter the scaffolding of the universe, I didn't know that.

It also makes me think of paper chromatography with expanding colours, completely different but let's be visual what your theory would look like!

  • I found a "hole" in this theory. If universe is expanding faster than light and accelerating,  then it means, that not all regions of the universe might be covered by light. But there are many more theories about universe that I heard of, some of them contradict each other.

  • Thank you, I feel safe in my little-big world. Once I shared this theory on a specialised forum for astronomy and there is no answer till this day. Absolutely no discussion,  no voice pro or contra, I was very much curious,  what would others think about it. But then I got disappointed and somehow disheartened. One my pen pal (from this forum) wrote me, that im a deep thinker. So maybe it was too deep for people who are probably more busy with looking at the stars. I would love to do it myself but I have to leave it in my dreams maybe till my daughter grows up. At least I can enjoy photos, articles, videos and books about the universe. I'm happy and I appreciate that I can see photos taken by rovers exploring Mars.

  • These always make me smile! What a fascinating theory!
