Mute and Agrophobic

So I’m extremely lonely due to having selective mutism and being agrophobic. I have no friends or family. I don’t see a single soul. But I do have two dogs. I’m struggling to care for myself and I feel bad for my dogs. I’m spiralling but there is no help whatsoever. I’ve even gone to my MP as it’s a issue that needs addressing for others but they don’t have any answers.

I could do with human contact but I’m terrified of people.

  • I’m really sorry. My son has Selective Mutism so I have some insight into how difficult a challenge that is - and how it impacts on every area of life. I’m autistic too - and we are very isolated - and we really do struggle in so many ways. So I just wanted to express solidarity.

    Thank you Kate, my son’s dad who is a narcissist and abusive person has my son living with him. He is 16 now and he is also going through what I went through but family courts family services the police and anyone you turn to can’t or won’t help. I have no strength left I’m constantly gaslit. I can’t keep being ignored by a system which is unfair on so many people. 
    I give up.
