What was your favourite movie when you were a child?

Two really captured my imagination,  20,000 Leagues Under The Sea and The Time Machine. The Bond films were always a Christmas treat.

Spirit Stallion of the cimmaron. I couldn't get enough of it, watched it daily

Toy Story 2.
The scene with Jessie reminiscing about Emily went over me as a kid but I now find it one of the most emotionally profound moments in any media I've seen. Sarah McLachlan is amazing too!

You have good taste in movies did you ever see lasie (2005) also son.of the mask is good and in a way Loki is slot more like big. Head from the comics then the mask is in the first film

I was going to say Land Before Time, but the Lion King obsession that came later was stronger. We had it recorded off TV on VHS. 

The Jungle Book (1967).

It was completely enchanting.

The only movie I was taken to see at the cinema as a child was Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and I didn't like that much. We didn't have video players when I was a child and only 3 channels on the TV,  but I remember watching National Velvet on my Gran's black & white TV and getting a bit emotional.

Grease 

Probably 'Zulu' or the Errol Flynn ' Robin Hood'. The Gregory Peck 'Captain Horatio Hornblower' is also up there. I liked historical films!

The Fox and the Hounds, I absolutely loved it and I had the book which I read over and over. 

I read the title of this feed and I was going to write the never-ending story. Then I opened the feed and there. It is absolutely loved that film when I was growing up. And it was released the year I was born so have a special affiliation to it
