Let's talk about cow's milk [NSFW]

I probably shoudn't post this, but it bothers me.

I love cream. If I buy an apple turnover, it must have cream.

The thing is, we are born into a world where drinking the lactate from a cow is acceptable. Who on Earth thought to drink it in the first place? A litre gives me 33g of protein a day. I try not to think about the pus in my milk.

I'm actually inclined to go vegetarian or vegan.

[removed by mod]  So much is going on that we can't see.

The meat industry is macabre.

I hope you don't report this, as those horses need a voice. This is their voice and it's unacceptable.

Formo is a start up company that have found a way to make actual milk protein without subjecting any cows to a life of torture. I would gladly switch to their product.

Back on topic, do you drink cow's milk?

I love it, but I want the cows treated well. The farmers are paid pennies and the supermarkets force them to abuse the animals for profit. The farmers should be well paid and the animals should be able to roam daily.  Milk is too cheap. It has to stop.

EDIT: I left out the exclamation marks for you profdanger. You're welcome.

  • There are two other videos I wanted to share with you regarding animal abuse in farms that burnt a hole in my mind, but the post will be immediately reported because it's a upsetting (rule 4).

    It would be found offensive.

Fortunately the guy was secretly filmed and arrested for injuring dairy cows for fun.

It all needs exposure. There needs to be live cams in every farm so we can see whats going on and report anything off. It should be a legal requirement.

If you saw the videos, you would agree.

It should also apply to kosher and halal animals.

Maybe an online petition would start the ball rolilng? Together we have power.

  • Not sure inuj would out cameras up but I mean a secret inspection?

I remember when a trainer at Bobby roberts circus was caught abusing Annie the elephant he ran away but think he got caught but the public turned on Bobby and I don't know weather or not to believe Bobby that he didn't know it was happening but the UK government eventually banned use of exotic animals in shows

The only circus I know of that still has animals at all is circus mondao but Petra treats the horses so well and malkes sure anywhere they go the horses have a big field area set up

I was shocked once though I saw a video. Of people upset about horses in the circus and they crashed the show screaming and shouting tge poor horses looked scared and ready to run which would of caused the animals and the public harm
