I've just had an emergency alert

I thought my laptop was about to blow up! It made a shrieking sound before and was overheating. But, I'm glad about these alerts. They save lives even if not the properties.

It was interesting that although grass burned in some places there were trees remaining.

I'm sure in prehistoric times wildfires would have been useful for restabilising the ground. Not so helpful now though.
