I've just had an emergency alert

My phone made a horrible noise and there was a text from I'm guessing the government, I think it was about BBQ's but I don't know as it was all in Welsh, Fat lot of good that is then!

  • Emergency alerts are switched off on my phone but I don’t know if we would have got one in N. Ireland anyway.

    I had my first and last alert a few years ago in Lithuania, before I knew of such a thing. It frightened me because to my knowledge back then, my phone was incapable of such a loud, dreadful sound, so it was very frightening and confusing.
