I'm excited for the solar eclipse and perseid meteor shower on 12.08. The solar eclipse will be partially visible for me (in germany) around 80-90 percent of the sun will be covered by the moon. It will be in the evening, 19:20 (GMT+1). I only hope for a clear sky. The full eclipse will be visible for Greenland, Iceland, Portugal and Northern Spain. I hope the sky will be clear.

I hope you can see it Alien0n3arth! (for a second I thought it was past, but it's still to come). I don't know if it will be visible here, but the meteor shower has a better chance, and there is normally a wider window for seeing it and a better chance of at least one clear night!
