Does anyone else watch this? Its an art program presented by Fiona Bruce and Phillip Mould, (Antiques Roadshow, art expert), where they track down the provenance of artworks owned by the general public that may be by a famous artist, or not to get it properly attributed. I find it fascinating, all the different forensic techniques that are used, like anilysing paint, to see if the pigments used match the age of the artist they think its by. using xrays and other spectrographic techniques to see if a painting's been reworked. Even the lables on the frames provide clues. For anyone who likes a good mystery, a puzzle, or forensics as well as art might enjoy this program, watching all these techniques more familiar to us from crime shows being put to a completley different use.
Sewing Bee has also started another series, I find that program often so inspiring.
