I was placed in the Lcwra group of universal credit 9 months ago and i was informed that this would be reviewed in 18 months.
Today I received a universal credit message that I have a appointment in 2 days time reviewing my claim.

I have had claims reviewed before, think of it as a chance to reinforce the difficulties you have, if you have multiple conditions, even things like IBS and/or dyslexia, tell them how such things gang up on you to make life difficult, they may decide to keep you permanently in the lwcra group. They did this for my son after he became allergic to the chemicals in the printing place he was working in and developed COPD because of them.
Thanks. I made a printout of my original claim form. I will try to find it. I'm concerned at the short notice given of the review.
I don't think these ones are as scary as the health assessment ones, I think these ones just ask you about half a dozen questions just to see if you're still vaguely the same as when you first applied. Most of the staff know its a box ticking exercise and treat it as such, they know that something like autism isn't going to get better in a few months.
