  • I've watched the first 4 episodes. I'm not finding it that funny, some of it is a bit cringe inducing and I see it as more of a poignant drama about relationships and loneliness than a comedy series.

    However Diane is great as a robot and it's an interesting and thought provoking programme, considering that this is supposed to be one way that robotics is heading - providing companions for.elderly, lonely or vulnerable people. I wonder how it.will actually pan out in real life.

    Yes, me too. I doubt I will be here by then but I think with a lack of carers and the poor pay it might easily turn out that way. I doubt they will be as whimsical as Linda Droid, though.
