STRAWBERRIES AND CREAM ANYONE?

The Telegraph is not a newspaper I usually read but this headline and image grabbed my attention in Apple News today. 

The offering from Wimbledon looks rather unattractive. There are alternative planet friendly ways to present strawberries and cream, so it is bizarre to present the world famous Wimbledon Strawberries & Cream in this way.

I love strawberries and used to have them with cream. Nowadays I love them on their own or with Greek yoghurt.

Do you like strawberries and how do you like them served?

  • We are going to be away, but was given a large punnet we are trying to finish (as we had some anyway!). We were also given meringue nests and cream which we had as a pudding. And they were lovely this morning sliced in a croissant with chocolate spread.

    Need to go whizz the remainder up as smoothie for the kids or poured into ice lolly moulds for them at a later date as they don't keep long.
