Advice book recommendations

My son is 9 with Aspergers, he is exceptionally clever but struggles socially. My husband and I are looking for a good book to help us to cope with how to deal with him. We have looked at so many books but none seem to really include what we need. Any help and advice gratefully received.

    That's my first choice but I'm an aspie adult rather than an (aspie?) adult trying to bring up an aspie child. I'm not sure that it would be so useful in this context. It certainly helps describe the way that an aspie thinks and the problems we have with the world so it may be worth a look.

    can i ask if Donna could quote one of the bits about difficulties with instruction that doesn't seem to apply in this case? Then we might be able to interpret or identify soemthing better?
