A long way for a hair cut

I saw this article about families travelling long distances to get their kids hair cut at a sensory friendly hair-saloon.

Wouldn't it be nice if there were more good autism-friendly hairdressers. Maybe I could get mine cut then!

  • I'm lucky to have found a hairdresser who loves cutting my hair, as she can talk non stop about her life with no input from me. This suits me fine although I do feel drained at the end! I like asking her about her foreign holidays as I don't travel and this is my way of experiencing the world second hand. So, this does have its advantages.
