Ironically, I came on here because I was bored. It varies, sometimes reading, watching TV, doing some puzzles etc helps. Other times I cannot find anything that will shift the feeling of being bored. Its something I struggle with. So many people talk about not having time to sit down etc, I just don't understand how they have so much to do.

Maybe it's because of autism we tend to stick to the same things then when it's over we have nothing left to do? or it's just some people do too much than they probably should do?
Chickens, dogs cats and humans all need feeding, I've got shoppig and cooking to do, dog walking, driving people to various appointments, then there are thigs that I like to do, like read, watch tv or do my ancestry research. Oh and the garden too.

Chickens are quite rewarding, they do take a bit of space, as they need room to roam and scratch about and htey do make a bit of mess. They need a coop and proper food, but they give an egg a day each, well only one of mine does now, they were rescues and I thik one of them is a "lady of a certain age". I dont' think chickens have a menopause as such, but they do stop laying when they get older.
They are funny creatures though, each with her own personality, they quite like a bed time cuddle too and if you're out with them they will come and sit on your lap and they "gossip" mine give a very different sort of Ooohh when I give them some peas or sweetcorn than they do if do anything else.
