I'm fine doing things I enjoy and seeing time to just be and rest but not sure what to do when bored

Ironically, I came on here because I was bored. It varies, sometimes reading, watching TV, doing some puzzles etc helps. Other times I cannot find anything that will shift the feeling of being bored. Its something I struggle with. So many people talk about not having time to sit down etc, I just don't understand how they have so much to do.

I get 'agitated' times too, when nothing I could is what I want to do. It's very frustrating, I agree. My best solution is to go outside and make a note of what gardening needs doing - there's always something - even if I then do nothing! This is majorly why I keep a, 'day book' - even small tasks (e.g. dusting the TV stand, putting away laundry, sock darning], so I always have something I can do. When I look back at the end of the day, it is heartening to see a number of ticked-off items.
I too find it hard to understand people having, 'no time to sit down,' as if this is some kind of virtue. Perhaps it's simply being disorganised, which can easily lead to worry. Time spent worrying is really draining.

that sounds good idea
I don't have a garden but I know what you mean about making a list. Lists feel productive even if I'm not actually being productive.
