Thank you

Thank you that was such a lovely welcome then l was expecting. Great to here from you all l think l will be at home here. Although l am not sure what to write about and would be very grateful if someone would point me in the right direction please. And is this adult only page or are there young people that l might have to be more gentle with my posts.

  • And thank to you too. I'm also very grateful for this community. It's for adults only and our space where we share our experiences and thoughts etc. Of course we must be somewhat careful and stick to the community rules.

  • What DormouseAtRest said, there are more details in the rules section, thought I'd link it below to save you searching! If the Mods decide it's against the rules, that'll edit it and let you know.  https://community.autism.org.uk/p/rules

Other than that, people like to either make posts about things that interests them -an easy way to start is to say what your interests are, and see how people respond! (Special interests being a big thing for a lot of us).

Or read some posts that others have made and reply as you desire! Some are discussion on autistic traits, problems people are facing or general light hearted threads as a way to socialise and connect.

I hope you can enjoy using the forum!

  • Our Online Community forum rules mean everyone with an account is 18+.  However, we are in public domain (theoretically, other people might read the posts / replies).

Some people also make use of the private message feature (it depends how they have configured the settings on their profile).
