I guess my favourite half dozen would be:
Robin Hood (1938) and indeed most Errol Flynn films
The Extraordinary Adventures of Adele Blanc-Sec (2010)
The Black Pirate (1926) with soundtrack by thepoornobodys available on YouTube (2013).
LotR: Two Towers (2002)
The Wicker Man (1973)
You Only Live Twice (1967)
My guilty pleasure though is the crummy Christmas movies (but only in the week each side of Xmas, I'm not a masochist!) which we have a bingo game going for as they are often so corny and predictable. The Christmas Consultant (2012) and A Very British Christmas (2019) are probably the only ones I'd watch again at a push.
YES!!! I LOOOOVE HOT FUZZ!!!
"THE GREATER GOOD"
Have you seen the 1996 Sonic the Hedgehog OVA? It's got some pretty fun moments and odd dialogue.
"You might know everything I'm going to do, but that's not going to help you since I know everything YOU'RE going to do! STRANGE, ISN'T IT?"
I really hope they reference that particular moment in Sonic 4 considering Metal Sonic is set to debut in it!
I love this selection - great choices! Alien is such a classic - sometimes I accidentally stumble across it on tv and I always get immediately gripped and start watching it again.
I love LOTR and the Hobbit films, but my youngest son watched them hundreds of times it seemed at one point and I felt by the end of that I didn’t need to see it again!
Howards End
whistle down the wind
far from the madding crowd (1960s version)
The Go Between
Hot Fuzz
The Grand Budapest Hotel
Housekeeping (directed by Bill Forsyth)
Sweeney Todd (Tim Burton).
Yeah if you're enjoying the series, maybe just enjoy it first! The book isn't like a normal fiction, it reads more like a history at first, so in a way it's getting those stories out to a wider audience. The is so many wonderful stories in it.
I never knew that!
might try the book at some point, but I think I'll stick to the series for moment
I've watched the tunes of power with my brother, Which is set before the lord of the rings and even before the rings were made!
That series(Rings of Power) is based on the Silmarilian, Tolkien's epic life work he started long before Lord of the Rings, and never actually finished (his son Christopher finished it off and it was published post-humously).
Though they changed so much I couldn't watch it, but if you don't know the book I think you would enjoy it better. There is a lot of history in it for them to do a lot with, so they'll probably keep it going a while.
Yeah, Tails is awesome. I always liked him in the Sonic X show.
Shadow was always my favourite character

I used to always want to be the bunny character in sonic (tails I think her name was)! I just found her really cute to look at!!
I have, yes. The Hobbit is good, but I prefer The Lord of the Rings, to be honest.
I love all the Star Wars movies, the episodes I mean, Everything after episode 9, I didn't really like.
That's awesome, I used to have Sonic Heroes and Shadow the Hedgehog on the Xbox
lord of the rings is good and the hobbit trilogy!
I've seen some Star Wars movies (can't say I've seen all, and I can't really remember which I've seen!)
I used to play Sonic the Hedgehog on pc (think I saw the first movie)
lord of the rings is good! have you seen the hobbit trilogy?
