Hidden Gem in the Antiques Centre:-)

Found a bargain in the antiques centre (a former brewery warehouse) yesterday!

Picked up 600g of random Lego pieces for £6 - got loads.

Had to bin a few of the bits, and some need cleaning due to old stickers, but great find nonetheless!

Dealer seems to be selling Lego regularly, was selling fast on Good Friday too.

Love having a big pile to build whatever my imagination dreams up.

Got two Lego idea books to spark creativity.

Tips for the centre: take cash to avoid overspending and always check for damage.

  • I like going to the antique auction house, it's like a massive charity shop, but theres rarely anything I want. Our charity shops are awful, full of rubbish and new stuff, they ship all the good stuff off to other places where they think they can get more money for it. I think this does a great disservice to the people here many of whom are in low paid, insecure work and would benefit from being able to buy good quality clothes cheaply. That's of course when they will accept donations, one place you have to make an appointment to donate stuff and they go through it and decide if it's "good enough", which considering the rubbish they sell seems a bit rich and insulting.
