Games that are good for autistics and other nuerodivergents

This is just an idea I've been thinking about for a long time, but I often feel like there are video games that innately appeal to autistics and other nuerodivergents due to the gameplay providing a form of positive mental stimulation to certain synapses relating to puzzling, logic, or just fun. Mostly RPGs and perhaps a couple fighting games I feel fall into these categories. I also just love it when games have hidden mechanics or secret little tricks you can use (I.E. Super Smash Bros. Melee with L-Cancelling and Wave Dashing) which I think can be attributed to my autism.

  • Yeah I'm in the middle of playing Hogwarts Legacy and enjoying it. I used to love playing the Assassins Creed games I have played all of them to date and finished them all. Same with Tomb Raider games I used to play them too. I play Hedgies on Facebook daily and have done for the last 5 or 6 years. I find the games a challenge and it's the buzz I get from seeing the credits roll at the end which makes me feel like I've acheived something.
