Anyone else rewatch programmes they like even if they're from their childhood as it comforts them?

Yes! I love going back to my childhood favourites, even if the production values weren't always great in the late 1960s and 1970s. Trumpton, Camberwick Green, Chigley, The Magic Roundabout... I also go back to later gems like Father Ted, Phoenix Nights, (rebooted) Doctor Who, etc. Comforting is the right word and a joy in enjoying them again.

I used to love Trumpton and Camberwick Green. The beginning and end of each episode had a pleasant predictability yet the interesting events in the middle kept them interesting. Thunderbirds was nearly as good.
..ooh and I forgot Thunderbirds, Stingray, etc
