Since the third thread of gratitudes is redacted, I'll create a new one;
1. Managed to get a Sunday Lunch, at a local Spar, while supplies were available.
2. Got Manure, off my Mechanic, for growing Spuds; at his Stable.
3. Listened to a Podcast Interview of a Man who talked about Sticks used in Ireland; back in the days.
Had a walk with my family and while they were playing, I wrote another part to my scifi story about insectoid aliens visiting earth and their interaction with humans. They came to earth, because they caught signals emited by our civilisation. They are 90 light years away from us. Their star is a third generation star, that was created in the same gas cloud as our sun, near the center of our galaxy. Later the stars migrated. The aliens highly advanced, looked for a twin star, that has same properties as their own. They found it. Their interaction with humans is not satisfying at the beginning. It's easy to imagine, how our species react to an insect 2,5-4 meter tall. But then they meet one man, who is different than all others. He is living alone with a lot of insects in his terrarium boxes and he is deeply absorbed by observing them and he loves them. He is the only one that will be able to communicate and interact with the insectoid aliens. He will find this interaction easier, than interaction with his own species. At the end they develop sort of friendship and take him to their own world. Together with samples of insects from his house.
The reason of their visit on earth is desire to catch samples of lifeforms inhabiting it, in order to enrich their own environment. Their ancestors killed a lot of lifeforms with uncontrolled technological expansion.
It's only part of the story.
