To quote someone's message, first select/highlight the relevant text, and then use the Quote button that appears
To "mention" someone, type @ followed by the start of the forum name, and choose from the list; that person will get a notification of being mentioned

Sorry, but "life hack" annoys the hell out of me, I know what it means, but it sets my teeth on edge, whats wrong with a "tip" or something ?

Another thing is, text speak in normal conversation.

My manager calls Chatgpt just 'Chat'. I find this intensely irritating, especially when I ask her a question and she tells me 'ask Chat'.

Oohh, that would annoy me too, I'd feel like telling her that I asked her what she thinks not what a chatbot thinks.
