Irritating phrases

Sorry, but "life hack" annoys the hell out of me, I know what it means, but it sets my teeth on edge, whats wrong with a "tip" or something ?

Another thing is, text speak in normal conversation.

Parents
  • "Go to your GP" = Like they haven't got enough to deal with!

"Email the communi5y manager here" = Like you will ever hope to get a meaningfull or timely response.

"Well, that's not how we should express ourselves here these days = that's out-dated terminology" = How is an average/newly diagnosed autist supposed to know what is acceptable here these days, day-to-day.

"You might find this link helpful" = ARRGGHHHHH!

FYI - Tips, mutual community help, discussion about our  "stuff/lives" seems to be removed, blocked or snu ffed out from this place these days.

When I have a moment to spare, I will attempt to remind all how vibrant and supportive this place was allowed to be!

  • "You might find this link helpful"

Oh, I hate those time-wasting trails across generic phone numbers and organisations that lead in a circle - usually leading to suggestions like, 'have you tried NAS or CAB?'  YES, A MILLION TIMES AND THEY PASSED ME BACK TO YOU. Grrhh.
