Is it common for people on forums to respond with very long, essay-style replies or copied material (for example, content generated by ChatGPT or pasted from other websites)? I find it frustrating when I ask a straightforward question and receive lengthy paragraphs instead of a concise, direct response.

I don’t quote from Chat GPT.

I copied the information from PsychiatryUK to your request for an answer in your post High functioning vs low functioning because not everyone likes links and it worded the answer to your question better than I could manage.

I try to be factual and as I don’t have the answer to everything I thought you might find it helpful. Clearly not.

Over my time here, some people have tried to control how others respond but the reality is that people are free to respond how they see fit so you can’t guarantee that you will get an answer that suits you.
