Toothpaste

Toothpaste. Has anyone managed to find a toothpaste that doesn’t taste absolutely horrible? I used to use a Colgate Total toothpaste (which did taste unpleasant) but then they recently changed the recipe and it became much more horrible. I’ve since been trying lots of others and I hate them all.For example a Sensodyne Repair and Protect that has the most appalling texture. Lots of the, I’ve tried and they’re all horrible. Plus they are so expensive that trying different ones and not liking them is costing me a lot of money.  So I thought I’d ask on here to see if anyone has any recommendations.
When my children were very young they had a very nice strawberry flavoured toothpaste. So why can’t there be a toothpaste for adults that isn’t always minty or just horrible tasting? We’ve put a man on the moon so why can’t we make a toothpaste that tastes and feels nice?

  • So many toothpastes, who knew? lol I use Oral-B advanced sensitivity protection with 'calm sensation' think it comes in normal and mint flavour. Dentist recommended the calm sensation to help with my teeth grinding and tongue scraping when nervous. its about £7 (think the dentist got commission) but I wait until its on offer in the supermarkets for £3.75 ish. I don't work for Oral-B either?! Happy brushing.

  • Toothpastes are one of the things I'm often allergic too, contact dermatitis is never pleasant and it's horrible in your mouth. All the ones or sensitive teeth I've tried set me off, at least the one I use is approved by the British Dental Association.
