Toothpaste

Toothpaste. Has anyone managed to find a toothpaste that doesn’t taste absolutely horrible? I used to use a Colgate Total toothpaste (which did taste unpleasant) but then they recently changed the recipe and it became much more horrible. I’ve since been trying lots of others and I hate them all.For example a Sensodyne Repair and Protect that has the most appalling texture. Lots of the, I’ve tried and they’re all horrible. Plus they are so expensive that trying different ones and not liking them is costing me a lot of money.  So I thought I’d ask on here to see if anyone has any recommendations. 
When my children were very young they had a very nice strawberry flavoured toothpaste. So why can’t there be a toothpaste for adults that isn’t always minty or just horrible tasting? We’ve put a man on the moon so why can’t we make a toothpaste that tastes and feels nice?

  • Who knew there were so many toothpaste options? Interestingly I've just been prescribed a Colgate toothpaste (mainly as a precaution) and I was worried about how a prescription toothpaste would taste. I was expecting it to be more medicinal or a stronger flavour to hide the medicinal. But to my pleasant surprise it is spearmint flavour. I can tolerate spearmint far more easily than normal mint and am not minding the taste of it at all - seems quite mild. I don't know whether other people find spearmint easier than normal mint. But possibly another option for people (obviously not prescription toothpaste) to have a look for any spearmint flavoured toothpaste.
