A loaf of crusts

I was enjoying a marmalade sandwich made from two crusts. I was thinking, some hate crusts while others love them. What about persuading manufacturers to make loaves comprising crusts only with other loaves 'inners' only? Would it be possible to make such a loaf? Perhaps I should email James May.

  • Sorry, but did you willingly eat a marmalade sandwich?

We always have bread from our bread machine so crusts are totally different to shop bought bread. Having made bread for many years I don't think it would be poosible to make one of just crusts, I think that even if they put together a loaf of crusts and a loaf of innards, the crusts ones would have very good shelf life as they'd go dry and hard quicker.

It was mother's fault - I often had marmalade sarnies as school lunch. I usually make my own so it's very tasty!

Probably not - but they could take off crusts from some and sell the two separately! I'm going to suggest this. Surely someone else on here likes crusts better???????
