Test post - please ignore (I'm testing to see what is breaking some threads here)

Please ignore this thread, I'm just trying different options to see if I can pinpoint what is breaking the threads - I'll ask for it to be deleted once/if I find the root cause of the issue.

From what I have seen it seems to be after a picture is inserted into a rely - seen it happen twice now but other times it is OK.

I'll try different sizes and file types to see if there is any basis for this.

Thanks for your patience

Iain

  • How come the number of posts on my thread are going up if there an orange banner? I dont' think I used any offensive language, I don't see why numpties should be considered a rude word or pheasants? I can't think why it would be about the number of threads one starts either, I know I'm a frequent poster, but so are others, people posting is what keeps the site alive, if theres an issue with the number of threads one starts then why isn't it explicit, why can't a banner come up and say no more threads allowed today or this week?

  • I don’t think it is you  Your relationship with tech has nothing to do with it.

I think the system has had a breakdown and it doesn’t know what it is saying or doing.

  • I didn't think it was me, someone suggested it could be my threads because I start a few. But, I agree the sites buggy since the latest update, I guess it won't be fixed unti after xmas now.

I'm not a confident driver, I don't drive further than Bangor as it's too busy and fast for me to cope and I totally panic on motorways, I don't even like being a passenger on them. But I was taught defensive driving, being aware of whats going on several cars ahead and to the side of you and keeping your foot near the clutch in case you have to do an emergency stop. I've had to do several of these, usually because of farmers hurtling round single track lanes with thier bailing spikes down. I once nearly lost my windscreen to a flying potato that bounced off the back of a tractor trailer!

  • That was me, like you sometimes, I was thinking aloud, but I realised it could be misconstrued.
