  • So, on a hunch, I asked Google.  We perhaps might not be surprised that it says the answer lies in marketing reasons...

    Apparently the new colour scheme reflects a more anticipatory mental state...

    Either some marketing guru making a packet for nowt OR (and I strongly suspect this myself) they've done the research and found some evidence to support it.

    For a business of that crazy size even a 0.5% boost to business by doing so makes crazy amounts of money...

    What on earth is that supposed to mean Grimacing . I really dislike the orange. Reminds me of years working for B&Q. One of the many jobs in my life I disliked.
