What are you currently watching?

Rick and Morty Season 9. 

I legit love how Rick has become a real family man now, yet if you rub him the wrong way, he'll immediately be like "I'm about to destroy this man's entire world view and belief system" 

I will need to find things to watch over the next five and a half weeks of football, then I guess we'll have wimbledon and cricket? Thy've just announced that there will be no Dr Who xmas special this year, they say it's because it's being saved and revamped, (gods help us), personally I think it's because they've spent all thier money on sport. I wish they'd get thier heads round the idea that not everyone likes sport, in fact some of us hate it and its domination of tv schedules and its impact on other programming.

mute the ads and enjoy a few minutes of peace and quiet, thats what I do. I see it as a positive way of resting my old eyes and then getting back into drama, a little bit more refreshed.

You can for a small fee watch such as Amazon Prime films Ad free. I used to use it but don't bother now. 

The Joys of  a Smart TV and access to such as Amazon Prime or Netflix etc. 

  I used to watch the Tennis in the days of Macenroe and Borg etc. Never bothered since. Have watched Cricket in the past but there again I don't bother now. Darts was another favorite sport to watch in the days of The late Eric Bristow etc. Never bothered since. Football season starts again in August. Back to such as Match of the Day and also arm chair supporting the Terriers once more lol. If they'd start playing right in their heads I'd happily fork out 20 quid or so to go watch the odd Home game. 

The current state of Dr. Who is kind of a mess. Russel T. Davies recently stepped down as head writer. Ncuti Gatwa gave me hope that Dr. Who would return to how it was when it was at it's greatest during the late 2000s, but I guess it never happened...

I agree. I don't want to watch the other teams. I don't understand why there are lots of other country's games on instead of things we might want to watch. Although, apart from Spring watch recently there is very little that interests me in the evenings. Sometimes there is something on a Friday. 

I don't watch the other channels except Countdown when not working. I can't stand the adverts, nearly every interval you get harrowing pictures and signing up for funeral plans amongst other things.

I run out of interesting things on I player, having seen most of the things I am interested in. 

I looked at the tv guide for next week and sport is on most night right in the middle of of the evening, I don't care who's playing, I dont' like it and I don't want to watch it.

There's probably something on iplayer I've missed, I don't use the other channels as I can't skip the adverts. I don't see why BBC4 has to be pretty much all repeats.

There is some good news on that. Most of the matches are very late. The only early ones are not England though.

Regarding the programmes, they keep saying we are funding them, so why is there so little I want to watch? They refer to watching things on I player, but we have probably seen them repeated already. I find the news frustrating as they will spend 10 minutes on research over something and miss other news altogether.
