I used to get a bit fed up with Brendans antics, I never felt it was fair on his celebrity partner when they got punished because his choreography included things that weren't in the rules they were being judged on. He was a great dancer though.

If I'm really miserable all I need to watch is Ed Balls doing Gangnam Style, it was so funny, I find it almost impossible to remain sad. Katya's creativity never fails to amaze me.

I thought Anita Rani's paso a few years ago was the best I've ever seen. 

Oof that’s a pain! My jet lag is really bad and that’s only a 4 hour difference. Not sleeping on the plane didn’t help. But I have noticed this site is really slow today but wasn’t sure if it was my internet or with coming back from Bermuda

Really struggling with holiday blues, but wished my holiday was better if that makes sense. Jet lag and medication withdrawal not helping

Spoke with mum on the phone and we compared the film Fantastic voyage to the SpongeBob equivalent named Squidtastic voyage. 

I always used to watch it for entertainment and I’m just gonna say it, out of all the couples ever, Ann Widdecombe and Anton were the best! I mean that samba in Blackpool was just hysterically funny in my opinion! She also reminds me of Tokkori from the Kirby anime in that outfit too. I found it got boring from 2017 onwards but I tend to watch Johannes as I think he is such a great guy. But who the hell are these people now? I personally wouldn't class all these vloggers and tiktokers etc as celebs and as I’ve said before I’m gen z and I’m even saying that.

I was a student of Applied Physics at unit at the time I was conducting the research and the tests were rigorously conducted so that any findings were verifiable by the scientific community.

From the cases we looked at, many had no juveniles present so a bit like paracaetemol and autism, there is an association but no evidence of causality.

The link to adolescents is a red herring in my opinion and not where the research should be focussed as it excludes many other potential cases that have different criteria.

I recall there being recorded evidence of this activity happening even when no people were present so there is a big question mark over whether it is connected with people at all.

Updating the laws of physics based on good research is very common so I don't think this is even a factor.

Or you accept that the "cause" may not be anthing at all. There can be elements or chaos in the mix which can give unusual events and almost all poltergeist cases confirm the poltergeist to be shy of repetition under recording conditions.

It may be absolutely nothing in the end.

I lost interest through moving from Scotland to England and getting a job - surprising how much the grind of a real world, low paid job can snuf out your scientific curiosity.

I am not a great dancer either, although my dance partner and I each won a 50p record token for best couple at a local disco when I was about 14 years old. I would say he was the better half on that occasion. 

I watched some of the Strictly pre-performance stuff last night as I didn’t know who most of the people were either. It was a very long watch as I am not enjoying the show as much as I used to do years ago. I think this is more to do with me rather than the show, although I still miss Bruce Forsyth as he excelled as the host with Tess. I also used to like it when ‘Bad Boy Brendan’ misbehaved and walked off. 

I get what you mean, but I like the whole sparkly exprience and seeing as I don't know who most of the celebrities are I watch to find out and I love Claudia Winkleman.

I know I could never dance, apart from having no sense of rythum I think my legs would fly apart if I tried doing the jive and my head would come adrift in the tango, might make a good halloween show though.

I watch it too but usually fast forward through the superfluous stuff.

Strictly starts properly tonight, yay, I know I'm going to be the only one from here watching it, but it makes me happy.

FT is about far more than ghosts, it's about all sort of weird stuff, plus new discoveries in archaelogy, astronomy and all sorts of things.

As you point out there are as yet no facts, but if you stop looking and close yourself off to possibilities then you'll remain in ignorance. 

Either polterguists are the spirits of those who have died and come back to wreak havc on the living for reasons we don't understand, or they are an expression of some kind of telekinetic energy from people who are troubled. If you've not researched them recently then you maybe unaware of more recent studies where it was found that polterguists, are nearly always associated with teenagers usually girls. Nobody know why or how, but then I suspect that many don't want to know as they'd have to rewrite various laws of physics and stuff. It's just more damned data, scientifically to difficult to think about, which is a shame, as it restricts our knowlege.

If they can come up with any hard facts then I would listen to them, but they don't so I don't.

Ghosts have proved elusive to science throughout history and they show no signs of changing.

Oddly enough I was a subscriber and contributer to FT for decades since its early years, but after too many years of lack of progress I lost interest in being active in the field.

There are quite a few researchers who'd beg to differ, the Fortean Times is full of newer reseach into such things.

A poltergeist is a type of ghost or spirit that is responsible for physical disturbances, such as loud noises and objects being moved or destroyed.

I used to study them at the Society of Psychical Research when I was at uni - fascinating things.

Maybe you will become the worlds first living poltergeist. The computer says you don't exist as a living person as you have no ID but you still make a lot of noise and cause things to fall over...
