understanding my 18 year old son

Why do I sometimes find it difficult to under my son who has aspergers. Most of the time I am patient and understanding. Then today I just flipped. I have shouted at him and stormed off.  I now feel really guilty and have cried. I know it must be a thousand times worse for him. But sometimes its difficult. Please dont judge me.

I suspect that we have ALL cried on both sides of these relationships. Don't get hung up on it, it shows your human!

Apologise to him, unconditionally, and show him that you love him. See if he can understand that you are finding it hard because you don't always understand him. Tell him that you need his help as he is the best person to explain to you what his world seems like.
