Music

Do you enjoy music? What music do you like? I love music. I always play something upbeat and fun when I wake up so I star the day off on a high. One of my fave songs to listen to at the moment is There She Goes by Sixpence None The Rich. It's one of my fave songs and they are one of fave groups to listen to.

Do you play any musical intrsuments? I used to play the guitar, a bit, but I wasn't very good at it and I haven't played since I was 12/13. I'm 20 now.

I've always liked music and I used to do singing too.

Music is a special interest for me.

  • As for guitar I was terrible when I was your age I could just about play  and now I’m proficient bit by no means an expert just kee at it and take regular learning breaks

  • Oh I used to listen to that a lot for sleeping! That and fantasia on a theme by Thomas Tallis!!

  • Right now im listening to reputation by Taylor swift her best album after I might listen to by the way by the red hot chilli peppers or purple rain by prince another two amazing albums

  • I had a good nights sleep last night after listening to The Lark Ascending by Vaughn WIlliams. I much prefer intrumental pieces now after losing my singing voice.

  • Music has always been a big part of my life for almost 20 years now. When I first saw The Beatles on Doctor Who, I knew instantly that it was what I wanted to do.

I play Guitar, Drums, Bass, Piano, Banjo, Ukulele, Mandolin, Bongos, Harmonica and Melodica.

Music will always be a big part of my life. Whenever I feel stressed, Upset, or down, I always put on music. Certain music helps me out a lot in different ways,

  • Only a few bands: GY!BE, The Microphones In 2020, and some classics (Bach, Vivaldi, Satie, Chopin). Most of the time I just have noise cancelling on, no music.

  • Music is a big part of me

    i like fallout boy,Paul weller,squeeze,nick harper,p!nk,pink flloyd,panic!at the disco,lit,smash mouth,busted,McFly and loads more

im willing to try anything in the rock and pop genres

But most of all I like ok guys sit yoir selves down this might shock you

Taylor swift she’s not just a good musican but she’s a big help and inspiration to me as a musican in my own right and she’s a good person

  • MUSIC IS EVERYTHING TO ME!! What helps is my previous experience with musical instruments (I haven’t played piano or violin since I was 14) because it helped me realise that I had perfect pitch!

I started playing the euphonium a couple of years ago for a youth group and not only is it easy to play, but it has made my appreciation for music more intense and passionate because I understand why the bass/rhythm section is so important.

I am a sucker for any genre if it has quality and soul to it. I’m currently obsessed with anyone and anything that’s funk-oriented.HuggingHeart

  • I can’t imagine a life without gaming but then I get told that I’m an addict. But I can find gaming to be just as, if not more enjoyable and emotional as tv shows and movies. But I am also glad to see these video games getting their own shows and movie too. Take Mario bro movie for example, for kids it was probably just a fun kids film but for me it was nostalgia of when I was kid growing up. Also love the Kirby anime too, though it’s slightly different to the Kirby games and not many characters from the show are in the game, it’s still nice to see another form of media. I also love collect all different merch whether it’s fan made or from big companies. I actually splashed out on a giant glow in the dark waddledee plush and a chilly the snow man plush the other year and I had to pay quite a bit of p and p and they were coming directly from Japan to the UK. But omg they were here within the week

  • I couldn’t imagine a world without gaming, it’s one of my few interests that’s for sure. It’s never failed me, never goes away, it’s always there when I need it, a life long enjoyment. I remember when I first tried an online game and found out it couldn’t be paused, I knew it was all downhill from there. A good game can be like reading a good book if the script writers have gotten the job right. Games have a huge influence on the movie industry too nowadays which is nice to see as these pieces of art are getting a show on the big screen.

  • I’m exactly the same. I mean I have the year NSO and expansion pack just to play the retro games. I mean I sometimes play co op games like Luigi’s mansion 3 or Mario tennis aces but I’m so not competitive. It is much more fun to play alone and lose yourself sometimes and that’s what keeps the games so fun and enjoyable knowing you aren’t getting treated badly by other real users. My first console was a DS lite which I really loved but unfortunately a bully in my village had broken it. I also sorta claimed ownership of my dads ps2 as he wasn’t using it so I played hit and run on it, also had a dsi but I sold that and completely regret it. I also have a Wii and Wii u, 3ds, switch and now the switch 2. Can’t wait for the Kirby add on to come out!

Yes I also have that problem with sleep aids they can send me off to sleep but then wake up. I don’t think there is anything wrong with us, maybe our bodies don’t need the rest. But when the mind is racing that’s when I play the games or listen to the music as it distracts me

  • Oh I see, I also take a sleep aid sometimes and again it does help you feel like you can fall asleep more easily but staying asleep is the hard part. I very rarely sleep without waking up and if I do I instantly assume something is wrong with me because it’s so unusual. I never owned a GameCube, my first was an original gameboy, then a sega master system folllwed by a mega drive, SNES, PlayStation 1&2 and original Xbox. I’ve got more up to date consoles but I am not a fan of online/multiplayer games, I prefer the solo experience where it’s easier to lose yourself.

  • I take a tablet sleep aid and I do find they can help me get off to sleep but my problem is staying sleep, hence the music and games. Feel free to ask your gp or pharmacist for more info on them though Slight smile and I suppose so for Nintendo songs and games lol. There again Simpsons hot and run to me is Sony despite being o  GameCube too. Yeah I’m just not into “actual songs and singers” these days. I used to like Little Mix, JLS and other various singers and groups but now I’m just not into them anymore and I turned to video game (mainly Nintendo) music lol

  • What’s a sleep aid? I’ve tried lots of things to help me sleep when I’ve been especially anxious, like going for walks lasting miles and miles. I get anxious about not sleeping too which is the only way I feel that I can truly get a break from just being aware of everything really. Nintendo songs really seem to be the one and only?

  • I’ve never played Metal Gear Solid but I do enjoy the “Encounter” song from smash ultimate. I don’t know any final fantasy songs though. As for sleep I actually find video games to help me relax as I’m distracted from all the disturbing things. I mean I can’t do anything too challenging or I’d get stressed. Another thing I have done though is taking a sleep aid

  • That’s interesting, the association with happiness and being comfortable is video game music? I can kinda relate but to music from Metal Gear Solid or the Final Fantasy series. Sleep seems to be a big problem for a lot of autistic people, wonder if it’s just that the mind finds it more difficult to shut off completely.

  • I have actually found that when I’m unable to sleep or I wake up in the night and my mind races,  I have to listen to more upbeat and suppose heavy metal music to relax me. For example I would listen to music from Bart Simpson levels which was more heavy metal themed or paper Mario TOK which has a lot of heavy metal music too (especially the tape boss fight). Sometimes soothing music just doesn’t smooth me

  • Music can be very therapeutic when you find a song to match the mood. Heavy metal for those times you want to give life the finger, alternative metal when you are feeling nostalgic and want to go back to the 00s.

  • For me I’m more interested in video game music. I find it amazing how so many instruments can make such amazing songs. I always thought violins are more or classical and opera songs but when I played paper Mario tok and Kirby and the forgotten land the violins sound so amazing in upbeat music too. I’m no expert on music and I have considered maybe trying to take it up but I wouldn’t know what a musical note is Sweat smile (I mean I know what it is but I don’t know what sounds they represent)

  • Music is a comfort and a distraction for me, I constantly have something playing. If I'm "music free" I always have a tune playing in my head which switches randomly. Frequently it's Iris by Goo Goo Dolls.

I'd love to play an instrument but I have fine motor skills issues so my fingers don't always cooperate properly.
