Newbie to the board

Hello Wave.

Hope you are all awap.

I'm a newbie to the board, and I thought I would say hi and give some info about myself.

I am 38 from the Isle of Wight. I'm fairly new to the Autistic community, as I only got a diagnosis about just over a decade ago.I also have Fibromyalgia as well, which holds me back quite a lot. My interests are listening to vinyl records, reading and writing poetry, and also watching Football. I have two dogs and a cat that I adore . I joined the message board and community to get more understanding of Autism myself as well. Also I'm here to hopefully maybe make some new friends. Thanks for reading and take care

More from me soon.

  • Thanks for the warm welcome. It's nice to be here Grinning .

I will try and post more and get into conversation soon.

I'm limited to how much I can post because of my fibro.

But for now, I wanted to share this picture of my vinyl records and player, for those who are interested.

Most of my vinyl is rock related.

But I also have some soundtracks like the stage play Les Mis and I have two Disney records.

As well in my collection, I have a bit more modern music, like George Ezra and Lenka.

    Take good care Thumbsup

  • I love a bit of George Ezra! Did you know he has a form of OCD? He loves going rambling to clear his head. He even made a film of walking from Land's End to John O'Groats, called End To End.

I've got the 3 albums on CD, plus Gold Rush Kid on blue/white/green striped vinyl. I also got a little 3D printed figure of George with this edition! A corking album. I love Manila and Fell In Love At The End Of The World. SunglassesHeartThumbsup

PS: looked at the photo. Queen: a fantastic album. And Alice Cooper - Welcome To My Nightmare is one of his best, at least solo. I preferred AC when they were a band (and apparently Alice has got the old band back together - minus one member who passed away. An album is already recorded and due for release: The Revenge Of Alice Cooper. Interesting!)
