My movie picks of the week - Free Guy and The Hobbit

I watched Free Guy on channel 4 catchup last night and enjoyed it, but now it's unavailable so I can't recommend it to others to watch unfortunately. Today I got half way through watching the first Hobbit movie (An unexpected Journey). I'm not a Lord of the rings fan, but I found myself getting into this film. It's visually really impressive.

If anyone has seen Free Guy, please let me know what you thought of it. I thought the story of a video game non player character who develops into an AI and starts making his own decisions about what he's going to do a really interesting one. Jodie Comer was great in the female lead.

If you want to watch The Hobbit movies, all 3 are currently available on ITVX.

If you're enjoying watching something else, feel free to tell us about it on this thread.

  • I've watched all The Hobbit movies, and all the LOTR movies, as I really enjoy fantasy worlds! That's why I enjoy gaming too. Well, I used to enjoy gaming. Now I don't have any free time.

So, the first Hobbit movie is a wonderful adventure. The movie's scenery is absolutely magical! And of course we get to learn about Bilbo's journey and how he got the ring. It's a movie that everyone who've watched LOTR should watch.

Now, (and I mean right now Grin) I'm watching El Camino that was suggested to me here in the forum. I'll come back to share my opinion of this movie too.
