What are your Yuck and Yum foods?

What are the foods that make you wince? How about the ones that you can always count on?

Wildly enough, I used to be pretty flexible as a kid because of ADHD, but since getting a proper stimulant, I've become picky as hell. This is a problem, since I am a rather serious runner, and should probably know more about nutrition than I do, but since I haven't shown any deficiencies yet, I'm gonna keep on the way I'm going.

Foods I cannot get within a meter of:

  • meatloaf
  • mac n cheese (truly a shame, I know)
  • milk
  • protein shakes
  • any gooey dessert

Go-to meals:

  • uncrustables (arguably 50% of my diet)
  • egg and sausage sandwiches
  • any steamed veggie, but mostly broccoli and cauliflower
  • chicken nuggets
  • fries
  • beans and rice

I'd love to hear yours.

    Chocolate
    Pasta
    Potatoes - in any form
    Sweets - especially Haribo and Refresher Squashies
    Coffee - not a food, but I love it
    Sausages
    Chicken
    Turkey
    Beef
    Lamb
    Bacon
    Peas
    Carrots - when cooked properly
    Cake - especially fruit cake
    Biscuits
    Pizza - Ham and Pineapple, Goats Cheese and Red Onion and also Margarita.
    Broccoli
    Cauliflower
    Tomatoes - especially on the Vine and Cherry Tomatoes
    Bananas
    Apple - especially in a crumble
    Most other fruits - like Pineapple, Mango, Melon etc.
    All Fish
    Prawns and some other shellfish
    Offal - especially Kidney and Liver


    Foods I dislike/hate/detest:

    Mushrooms - can’t stand taste, texture or smell when cooked - always gag when I come home and parents have had them for lunch hours before lol.
    Aubergine
    Avocado - taste/texture
    Chillies - except in very tiny amounts and only mild ones.
    Celery
    Oysters
    Snails (Escargot) - had once, never again
    Nuts - except in Crunchy Peanut Butter or Nutella

    I’m sure there are more that I like/dislike - but there is so many foods out there I can’t remember lol.
