oops, I did it again

I went to the doctors earlier and used thier screen thingy to say I was there, only after doing it all right, I was waiting ages so I went to reception to ask how many people were in front of me in the queue as people who were coming in after me were being seen. Only the screen hadn't worked, it hadn't confirmed I was there and had put me down as a no show, luckily the recpetionist told the doctor that I'd been there all along and I was seen. Why does this sort of thing happen to me?

Another bug bear was finding out that I have a floating lump in my shoulder joint that could be seen on the x-ray I had a few weeks ago, but the hospital had put it down as no further acton! Now I'm being refered to the hospital, to see what it is and if they can remove it. It's causing me quite a lot of bother, you know when you hit your elbow and your arm goes useless for a few seconds? Thats happening often when I've not hit my elbow, I keep dropping things as my arm's strength suddenly fails and I have to use my left hand to lift things like pots and kettles, luckily I'm fairly ambidextrous.

  • I haven't had that experience at the doctors, but I still don't really trust the screens and prefer to tell a person that I've arrived.

Sorry to hear about your shoulder. I've had shoulder and neck problems over the years so I can empathise, plus I'm also a bit ambidextrous.
