  • My favourite ever film is Apollo 13, because the history of the space race really interests me and I love seeing all the intricate problem solving going on to save the doomed moon mission successfully.

    I've found recently that I feel more drawn to films from the 80s and 90s at the moment. It might be nostalgia, but I think another reason is watching the technical effects being great but constrained. These days so much computer effects are used that it's become too commonplace and not special anymore.
