I'm currently reading Roadside Picnic. It's one of my favourite fiction books.

  • I’m scanning an updated edition of an old book that is on my bookshelf, A History of the Ancient Near East by Marc Van de Mieroop, and debating whether to buy it. It was and is mandatory reading for many undergraduate courses in Archaeology and Ancient History, it’s also widely referenced in post graduate research and teaching. Bedtime fiction reading is Big Sky by Kate Atkinson. I love reading fiction in bed last thing at night, nothing too heavy.
