What book are you reading?

My favourite books I have read this year are: the invisible life of addie larue, everyone in this room will someday be dead, daydream and the travelling cat chronicles.

I will have to checkout roadside picnic !! 

I tend to listen to fiction stuff these days, fantasy books being my thing. I am listening to Age of Iron by Angus Watson, its quite humorous really but a little bit dark too. 

I’m scanning an updated edition of an old book that is on my bookshelf, A History of the Ancient Near East by Marc Van de Mieroop, and debating whether to buy it. It was and is mandatory reading for many undergraduate courses in Archaeology and Ancient History, it’s also widely referenced in post graduate research and teaching. Bedtime fiction reading is Big Sky by Kate Atkinson. I love reading fiction in bed last thing at night, nothing too heavy.

The Village News by Tom Fort and a book about the end of the Edwardian age when the Titanic sank.

Weaveworld by Clive Barker, I originally read when it came out some years ago. I gotten out of the habit of reading novels, I tend to read very descriptive books as my visualization isn't great.

I'm reading a non fiction book on the Vikings and a fiction one for my bedtime story.

I read loads, mostly crime fiction and history non fiction.
