I've got a bad reputation on this forum

I've just looked at my profile and it now says "Your current reputation puts you in the top 100% of members." I think i used to be in the top 1%; then it changed to the top 10%; and now only the top 100%?! What did I do wrong?

(Is this why all my messages are going into moderation before they appear?)

Anyway, more seriously, what does "Members in the top 50% are highlighted within the community." mean? I've not noticed that anybody's highlighted in any way.

  • I wouldn't say that gives you a bad reputation, it's just a counting thing and perhaps your posts that are going into moderation aren't being counted? When my posts kept going into moderation I emailed the community manager and they got it stopped, so I'd suggest you do that. But don't worry about a "reputation" here, people will make up their minds about you without referencing that - in fact many of us have or had no idea that this " ranking system" exists!
