On tv over xmas and new year, a couple of xmas specials and a load of repeats of previous xmas specials. Roll on the week after new year when we might get some new and decent telly.

I don't have a TV licence, so I don't watch BBC or iplayer. I think it's too expensive to be worth it for me as I don't like most of their programmes. I mostly watch stuff on All 4.
Yeah, I checked ITV X and found they've got 4 Star Wars movies available to watch for free. On All 4 I watched Trading Places and a Come dine with me Christmas episode, and Bullet Train has now been put on there too, which I'm also planning to watch.
I started a thread called "Our community Christmas Goggle box" with comments about what I've already watched , so if you find something, you can comment about it on that thread.
I absolutely loved Wallace and Gromit, the new one was so funny. I'll watch the Doctor Who Christmas special too, but everyone is right the rest I don't really are about.
There are a few (for me) good programmes such as "Wallace and Gromit - Vengence most fowl" and a Dr Who story called "The War Games", made in black in white in 1969, but colourised using modern technology, it was the final story with Patrick Troughton as the Second Doctor:
Totally agree about Christmas TV. I can't remember when it was last any good.
Might sound weird, but I actually enjoy how they show the same things over and over again. It kind of fulfills my need for predictability in the chaos named “Christmastime”.
I’m not from the UK though, so I can only judge the German program and honestly I’m not even really watching it that often, just knowing it’ll be on again is enough.
I have most of the streaming services and still can’t find much that I want to watch. I used to really look forward to TV at Christmas time.
